Hello!

My name is Esadecimale “Hex” Adams and I’m a Level and Game Designer living in Seattle who was formerly working at Bend Studio between September 2022 and February 2025.

For my whole life I’ve been enamored by the inherent wonder to the constructed and natural world all around us. This wonder has served me well as a level and game designerroles where my entire job is to learn from that shared lived environment and to translate them into interactive levels along with their gameplay sequences all so that players can explore and enjoy that same feeling of inherent wonder and delight!

An action-focused, combat encounter gameplay sequence for Half-Life: Alyx anchored around the player experiencing varying degrees of difficulty and agency over their situation resulting from their own actions' knock-on effects.

World Designer and Product Owner

A first-person exploration game where the player operates a drone delving underwater into ancient abyssal caverns for a large megacorporation. As the player dives deeper, they uncover much more than what was initially implied.
